Synapse runs strength-biased programming. We focus on technique, and our ultimate goal is to get you as strong and efficient in your lifting as possible. Every student that walks through our door is required to attend our fundamentals classes where they will receive as much personalized attention as possible, and develop until we are confident in his or her lifting ability.
ALL classes include a short warmup and mobility session, a skill or a lift, and then a short workout, called a WOD, that will last (for the most part) under 20 minutes. The goal of the WOD is to improve conditioning and strength endurance, and is different every day. The WOD will include elements of sprint conditioning, plyometrics, weightlifting, and gymnastics conditioning. We work hard to improve imbalances, fix mobility issues, target weaknesses, and we provide the tools and skills necessary to compete in CrossFit if you choose to.
Our classes are fit for anyone, from current and former athletes, to grandparents. We work hard with beginners and veterans alike and keep our classes as small as we can. We pride ourselves on personal attention, detailed instruction, and extremely low to non-existant injury rates. Our programming is well thought out, structured, and taught by experienced, knowledgeable instructors that care about each student.
