The best way to get started is to try a class at Synapse. In fact, we will give you 3 FREE CLASSES! We feel that the best way to understand our program and philosophy is to experience it for yourself. So, here's how to take your free trial:
The best way to get started is to try a class at Synapse. In fact, we will give you 3 FREE CLASSES! We feel that the best way to understand our program and philosophy is to experience it for yourself. So, here's how to take your free trial:
- Take a look at the schedule and find an all-levels or FUNdamentals class that works with your schedule. Then, call or email us to let us know which class you'd like to take. You can also sign up on our online schedule by clicking the class you'd like to take and creating a profile for yourself.
- Come to class a few minutes early. Once inside, you'll need to sign a waiver. Make sure you tell your coach it's your first time, and let them know about any existing injuries.
- The goal of your first few classes is to get through them and introduce your body to Crossfit. Your coach will scale the workout to your abilities, but you should also listen to your body and take rest/drink water when you need to!
- Come back, even if you're sore, and even if it was hard. It's supposed to be hard! Most importantly, soak in as much information as you can. You have a LOT of technique to learn and this is the most important part! Try not to get frustrated with yourself and simply keep coming to class. Once you have completed your 3 free classes, feel free to check out the membership options we offer! You will still need to remain in the fundamentals or all levels classes, though, until we are comfortable with your technique.
- Once you are proficient in the barbell techniques we teach, you will be able to take any class you'd like on the schedule! Have fun, work hard, and get ready to see some amazing changes in yourself, both physically and mentally!
